When I teach, there's a specific feeling I'm chasing — freeing a mind that didn't know it was ever caged until the instant it recognizes exactly what's just happened to it. That's what I mean when I say I'm unlocking someone's Math and Physics Powers.
I have been helping students learn Math and Physics since I was a high school student myself. Since then, I have accumulated 8 years of professional teaching experience. My students have come from Lebanon, Dubai, and Finland, encompassing many nationalities, native languages, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
I am also a seasoned student who has studied at four different universities across Lebanon, Sweden, and Finland. I hold a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, and have published two peer-reviewed research papers in optics. I actually did the Math, the Lab, the Library, the conferences... but nothing ever felt as fulfilling as helping someone else realize their own Math and Physics Powers.
I have always seen and experienced education as something fun and deeply rewarding. I hope I can be a nice, nurturing stop in your journey, wherever it might take you.

I've taught Online and In-person for over 9 years — and I'll show you online can be just as good, if not better, 1-on-1. Above all, I make you GENERATE the knowledge rather than recall it.
How do I teach? I'll use an Analogy to explain it.
A Math/Physics problem is like a chess game.
1___ First, name what you're given and what's required — slope, frequency, a function, a data point, a condition — the same way you'd name the pieces on the board: a pawn, a knight, a rook, and note what your opponent just played.
2___ Then decide how to see it: is understanding it in words enough, or do you need the equations, or a graph — seeing the board as a grid, tracing the paths open to each piece, or stepping back to read the position as defense, offense, threats, space, a small war.
3___ If the winning move isn't obvious from a law you already know — gravity, Snell's law — ask yourself: have I seen this pattern before, and is my best move immediate, adjusting my position to checkmate directly, or is it further off, needing me to strategically place a piece, build my defense, or launch an attack first? Either way, once you see it, you bring it back to the board and make the move.
Course flow: First session, I assess your level and we discuss your goals. After a couple of lessons, I build a plan tailored to you, and keep adjusting as we go.
Who it's for: Physics and Mathematics at intermediate, secondary, and university level — IB (SL & HL), IGCSE, California Common Core, Lebanese curricula, exam prep.. you name it, the topics are the topics.
