¡Hola! My name is Antoni, I’m 27 years old and originally from Barcelona, Spain.
I am a native speaker of both Spanish and Catalan, and I teach standard European Spanish (Spanish from Spain).
As a language learning and travel geek myself, I have lived and worked in 4 different countries, my last experience before coming to Finland was Japan, where I worked for a year in the video game industry as a Spanish Language Quality Assurance Tester, being responsible for reviewing and adapting English content into Spanish, ensuring linguistic accuracy, natural language and cultural appropriateness. At the same time, during my time in Japan I was also teaching Spanish as a tutor in Tokyo.
I am a professional of the International Relations field, with a professional career built around international environments, particularly in the fairs, exhibitions and events industry, sector where I just came back here in Helsinki after my periplus in Japan.
Outside of my professional and academic background, my biggest hobby is cooking. I have been passionate about food for as long as I can remember, specially Spanish and Japanese cuisine. I enjoy sharing not only the language, but also the culture, traditions and gastronomy that make Spain such a unique country.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner looking to improve your fluency and sound more natural, I am here to help you reach your goals through personalized Spanish lessons tailored to your needs.
We can explore different class formats. My teaching approach is centered around you, so I want to hear more about your goals and interests in order to arrange the perfect learning experience for you.
My goal is always to make learning enjoyable, effective, and tailored to your needs.
Classes can be held online, or we can arrange an in-person location (a café, your home, my home, etc). I also offer the possibility of outdoor lessons based on different activities, allowing you to practice Spanish in a more natural environment that will enhance retention.
Lessons are conducted in English and Spanish, with a special focus on practical communication, helping you gain confidence using Spanish in real-life situations.

I took conversation classes with Antoni when I was preparing to apply for my university exchange studies to go and study a semester in Valencia. Thanks to his recommendations I was able to pass the interview in Spanish and get approved for the exchange!
Antoni guided me through my first steps learning Spanish as an Iranian and he taught me how both our languages yet being distant, have more connection and similarities than one would initially think.

Yksityiskohdat
Travel expenses will be calculated depending on the distance and time.
- If the location is within Helsinki's B/C Zone and the trip is less than 25 minutes, no travel expenses will be charged!
- If the location is within Helsinki's B/C Zone and the trip is more than 25 minutes, travel expenses will be 3€ per class.
- If the location is within A/B Zone, travel expenses will be +10€ per class.
- Standard hourly rate: 25€
- 5h bundle: 120€
- 10h bundle: 225€
For students who wish to take more than 10 hours per month:
- +10h per month bundle: 225€ and each additional hour within the same month will only cost 10€!
It's also possible to arrange group classes, for which the rates would be decided according to the amount of assistants and hours.
