Tietoa henkilöstä Antoni

¡Hola! My name is Antoni, I’m 27 years old and originally from Barcelona, Spain.

I am a native speaker of both Spanish and Catalan, and I teach standard European Spanish (Spanish from Spain).

As a language learning and travel geek myself, I have lived and worked in 4 different countries, my last experience before coming to Finland was Japan, where I worked for a year in the video game industry as a Spanish Language Quality Assurance Tester, being responsible for reviewing and adapting English content into Spanish, ensuring linguistic accuracy, natural language and cultural appropriateness. At the same time, during my time in Japan I was also teaching Spanish as a tutor in Tokyo.

I am a professional of the International Relations field, with a professional career built around international environments, particularly in the fairs, exhibitions and events industry, sector where I just came back here in Helsinki after my periplus in Japan.

Outside of my professional and academic background, my biggest hobby is cooking. I have been passionate about food for as long as I can remember, specially Spanish and Japanese cuisine. I enjoy sharing not only the language, but also the culture, traditions and gastronomy that make Spain such a unique country.

¿Y bien, comenzamos?

I had an amazing experience learning Spanish with Antoni. Thanks to his patience, clear explanations, and engaging conversation classes, I gained the confidence to speak Spanish in real-life situations. I finally felt confident enough to travel solo in Spain and communicate with local people in Spanish. I’m truly grateful for everything I learned and highly recommend his classes to anyone who wants to learn Spanish in an effective and enjoyable way.

Antoni guided me through my first steps learning Spanish as an Iranian and he taught me how both our languages yet being distant, have more connection and similarities than one would initially think.

Also doing café conversations gave me room to ask questions at the spot based on real linguistic needs.
