I know what I am doing. I hold a Master of Arts in Development, Education and International Cooperation from the University of Jyväskylä and a Bachelor degree in Special Education with a focus on Communication Techniques from Masaryk University in Czechia. My English is certified at Cambridge C1 Advanced level.
But degrees and certificates are not the full story. I have worked at Opetushallitus, the Finnish National Agency for Education, supporting the Erasmus+ programme. I have guided international students during their work based learning periods in Finland. I have taught English to primary school children in Czechia. I have facilitated workshops for international educators and students. I have also been an Erasmus+ trainee myself, so I understand exactly what it feels like to use a second language in a new country.
What makes me professional is not just my experience. It is how I treat students. I am patient, I listen, and I adapt. I do not get frustrated when you struggle because I know that struggle is part of learning. I know how to adjust my methods so that you actually make progress.

I use communicative language teaching and task based learning, which means you learn English by using it for real purposes. I also draw from my special education background in Communication Techniques, so I adapt to your learning style. If you need visuals, I use images. If you need repetition, we build routines. If you need conversation, we talk.
We start with a short discussion or activity to understand your level and your goal. Each lesson then focuses on one practical outcome, such as writing an email or ordering food. A typical lesson includes a warm up, a main practice activity, and a quick review. I give small tasks for between lessons but only tasks that fit your daily life.
I am patient and calm with students who make mistakes. I have worked with students who have learning difficulties. I have worked at Opetushallitus and guided international students in Finland. I hold a Master degree in education and a Cambridge C1 certificate. I can also guide students preparing for Erasmus+ mobilities abroad, helping them test their language skills in real situations before they leave.
My courses are for primary school children, secondary and vocational students, and adults. I work with beginners and intermediate learners. I also work with students who have learning disabilities. I do not teach advanced Cambridge or IELTS exam preparation. Everything else we can discuss.
