Teaching Finnish is very meaningful to me because it directly impacts my students' quality of life. Learning a language is not only about language skills – it is also the key to society, the workforce, and social relationships.
Throughout my career, I have taught hundreds of immigrants moving to Finland. Running my own business has opened up extensive networks in the Finnish job market, and if your goal is to find employment in Finland, I would be happy to help you. In my previous salaried job as a communications specialist, I worked closely with various schools and educational institutions.
What is my education?

What is my work experience?
-Business Owner, BRÄNDIKSI (During my nearly five years as an entrepreneur, I have helped over a hundred Finnish companies increase sales through Finnish-language digital content production. I have created countless translations, online learning platforms, and e-learning materials.)

What will we do together?
I want you to learn how to use Finnish in your everyday life. All exercises are centered around conversations, listening comprehension, grammar, and reading. We will also use pictures and videos, which we will discuss together. I have taught Finnish as a second language in various companies for many years, which allows me to create learning materials tailored to your situation – whether it's getting a job, building friendships, handling official matters, or communicating with your partner in Finnish.
How is the teaching structured?
We will start with assessing your language skills and defining your goals. After that, I will create a curriculum specifically for you. The focus will be on using the language in everyday situations, but we can also cover general aspects of Finnish culture and the country’s unique features.
What is most important to me?
I am here for you – your official Finnish friend! I believe in creating an encouraging environment where you feel confident to practice without the fear of making mistakes. If you are just starting to learn Finnish, we will also communicate a lot in English. During my teaching career, I have lived in Thailand and the United States for several years, and as an immigrant myself, I understand how challenging learning a new language can be.
Who do I teach?
I teach you, who want to learn Finnish as a second language. You may be just starting or already advanced. The focus of the teaching will depend on your goals – it could be everyday communication skills or academic language skills.
