I have always had a passion for learning and analysing languages.
I have also always had a passion for teaching, and explaining in general.
Combined, these two help me see the languages I learn from multiple perspectives; from that of a native, a learner, and someone who hears the language for the first time; which is incredibly helpful when it comes to putting myself in someone else's shoes, to know the various struggles students may come into
As mentioned before, I possess certification in French and German (B2 and B1 levels respectively) and while I've never formally obtained any English certification such as TOEFL or IELTS, I have participated in certified weeks-long programmes in the UK and Ireland with the goal of preparing me for any English exam and life in English.
I have also obtained a score of 750/800 on the SAT Reading and Writing section, putting me in the 97th percentile of 5M+ test takers.
Finally, I attended a 5 year school specialised in language teaching (where I learned French and German) and graduated with 94/100 with a combination of written and spoken English tests up to EU standards.

I am a patient, understanding person who understands more than anyone that learning a language is no easy task.
I can help you speak, read, and write more confidently and comfortably in English and Italian; be it for an important exam, free-time studying, and anything in between!
I can provide basic/intermediate level tutoring for French and German, i.e. prepare you for your DELF or DSD certifications!
I can prepare you for any English certification, such as the SAT and others. I have personal experience in taking and analysing these tests, their questions, and their requirements. I can offer insightful tips and methods not only to prepare best for question types and exercises, but to increase your confidence in your language abilities and, of course, with studying the required material.
If you have any material such as books, exercises, or worksheets, I can integrate it into my lessons to keep a continuity with your private studies, and will recommend/assign exercises to fit you and your needs.
Speaking 4 languages at a level where I can teach between any of them means having a critical understanding of what it means to be a student learning something new, so don't worry, I know what it's like to be insecure and thirsty for knowledge.
This is no place for judgement. All you need is a basic knowledge of English, Italian, French, or German, but nothing too advanced is required, and even though I don't speak Finnish at an advanced level, I will be able to understand and answer any concern of yours, and help you express yourself to the best of your ability in your target language.
In short, whether you're just starting out your studies and need help advancing in English, Italian, French, or German, or you speak English or Italian at an intermediate level and want to reach even higher, I can help you!

Riccardo is a wonderful teacher! He's very understanding and makes you feel better about making mistakes as they're a necessary part of learning:) He's practically a native in English and he has no trouble understanding people with dialects such as me in the beginning. I met him when he came as an exchange student to my school in Finland. I've known him for a couple of years and he's helped me with English a lot, he helped me feel more confident when speaking English and he also helped me prepare for my final exam of English . He's also been my Italian teacher for some time now! Learning with him is very calm and good as he is a very nice person:)
