Hello! I’m Soubantik, a passionate educator and researcher with a strong foundation in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Biology, and Neuroscience.
I hold a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science (Neuroscience) from IIT Delhi, one of India’s top institutes, and currently work in the field of Human Genomics and Complex Disorders in Finland. My academic journey has been deeply interdisciplinary, blending brain sciences with computational methods, allowing me to offer a unique, integrated perspective to students.
What sets me apart is my ability to make complex topics simple, relatable, and even exciting. I believe every student has the potential to thrive when guided with patience, clarity, and the right mindset. I take pride in adapting my lessons to fit the learner’s needs, pace, and interests.

As a tutor, I bring an interdisciplinary and international approach to teaching, shaped by my Master’s studies in Neuroscience at IIT Delhi (QS Rank 26) and my current research experience as a PhD in Human Genomics and Complex Disorders at University of Helsinki, Finland.
My goal is to make subjects like Psychology, Biology, and Neuroscience not only understandable—but truly meaningful—for each student, whether they are in Finnish high school (lukio), IB programme, undergraduate programs, or preparing for entrance exams or university coursework.
Teaching techniques and methods:
Concept-based and structured lessons tailored to the Finnish curriculum and international standards
Use of visual aids, storytelling, and scientific examples to explain complex ideas. Focus on scientific thinking, essay writing, and exam readiness
Language of Communication: Lessons in English.
