Tietoa henkilöstä Clara
I am a native Spanish speaker with a strong inclination for languages and learning. I have lived in different countries, such as Germany and Finland, thus, I am very comfortable with multicultural environments and I am used to communicating in English on a daily basis.
I am currently finishing my studies in psychology, where I have studied areas such as human learning and development. This has given me a foundation for helping others develop methods adjusted to their own needs.
I also studied English academically and completed the TOEFL iBT exam to demonstrate my proficiency for university applications. In addition to my academic background, I began teaching English as a teenager, supporting younger students and children I cared for who did not share my mother tongue.
I am very creative and flexible and these qualities define my teaching :)
I love adjusting my style to different personalities and I think the interaction with students is really meaningful, as well as getting feedback.

My teaching approach is flexible and adapted to each student’s individual needs. Thanks to my background in psychology and my studies in learning, cognition, and educational psychology, I create lessons according to each individual’s learning preferences. My goal is to help students feel motivated while developing practical language skills.
Learning should feel fun and engaging! That is why I like to incorporate materials that match student’s interests, such as music, literature, films or real life topics.
A typical lesson might begin with a conversation to review previous knowledge. Then we can proceed with new materials and the area of focus for the day, according to the student’s goals. I will make sure to incorpore engaging exercises to reinforce past and present learning.
My classes are suitable for beginners as well as students who want to improve their speaking skills or their understanding of the language. I teach Spanish but I am fluent in English and we can use it to support beginners when necessary, so students can start learning at their own pace.
