I’m a PhD-level tutor specializing in molecular biology, immunology, and bioinformatics, and I help students and early-career researchers build real confidence—from core concepts to advanced, research-level thinking. My teaching style is structured and goal-oriented: we identify what you need to achieve (exam performance, course mastery, thesis progress, or practical data skills), break it into clear steps, and then practice actively until you can explain and apply the ideas independently.
I’ve completed formal training in university pedagogy, which is a compulsory qualification for all lecturing researchers in the university setting. That training shapes how I teach: I use constructive alignment (learning outcomes → activities → assessments), active recall, and frequent low-stakes checks to make sure learning sticks. I also adapt to different learning styles—some students need simple mental models and diagrams first; others prefer problem-solving immediately, or paper-figure interpretation. Either way, I focus on clarity, pace, and measurable progress.
Alongside tutoring, I work at the interface of research and real-world biomedicine. I am a Visiting Researcher at a Faculty of Pharmacy, where I stay engaged with contemporary academic science and mentoring culture. I also work full-time as a Senior Scientist in biopharma, contributing to the development of personalized cancer vaccines. This means I don’t just teach textbook biology—I bring practical, up-to-date perspectives on immune mechanisms, tumor immunology, biomarker thinking, and how omics data (genomics/transcriptomics/proteomics) is interpreted in modern research and product development.
In lessons, you can expect a supportive but high-standard environment. We’ll build strong foundations (molecular pathways, immune cell function, antigen presentation, signaling, experimental design), and—if relevant—connect them to bioinformatics skills such as reading RNA-seq outputs, understanding differential expression, pathway enrichment, clustering, and interpreting plots and quality metrics. I can also support lab-report writing, presentation preparation, paper reading, and thesis planning. My goal is simple: help you understand deeply, perform well, and think like a scientist—without feeling overwhelmed.

+ 10–15 min: mini-assignment + summary sheet + next-session plan
