Hey there! Over more than 15 years of performing and teaching across many different vocal genres, I'm the teacher to work with if you're looking for a holistic method of singing with an embodied voice.
All of my teaching stems from the philosophy that anyone can sing well, and that we need the skills and tools to feel good when we sing -- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I will work with you to feel grounded and confident in your voice.
Singing is a collaborative journey. You and I will work together to determine what works best for you. And through the course of your study, I will be with you every step of the way to encourage, support, and provide the technical skills that you need to succeed. I am a holistic voice coach. This means that we will work on all of the aspects that contribute to your success as a singer: body, mind, and spirit.
My teaching is rooted in over 15 years of experience in classical training, spreading across many teachers and several continents. This means that I teach every singer I work with the fundamentals of developing solid breath support and efficiency, sound production technique, and expression across many different genres.
Lessons are divided between intense focus on developing vocal technique and using talking and embodied techniques to work through the psychological and physical obstacles that can arise for performers. We start our work together by setting goals and intentions, and throughout our technical work, we check in to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your progress.
Whether your goal is to show off at karaoke or sing on the big stage, I am passionate about giving you the tools and support that you need to succeed.
