Tietoa henkilöstä Alamgir

I am a professionally trained engineer and experienced tutor in mathematics and physics, with master’s degrees in engineering-related fields and ongoing advanced studies in sustainable chemical and process engineering .

My academic background covers applied mathematics, mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, and energy systems at diploma, secondary, and early university levels.

I teach with clarity, structure, and purpose. Instead of memorizing formulas, students learn how to think, analyze problems logically, and apply concepts confidently in exams. My lessons are well prepared, calm, and adapted to each student’s level, whether they are struggling with fundamentals or aiming for higher performance.

Students can expect clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, honest feedback, and measurable progress. My courses are suitable for secondary and upper secondary school, diploma and foundation programs, and first-year university students who want strong, reliable support in math and physics.

My approach as a private tutor (Math & Physics)
Teaching techniques and methods

My teaching is concept-first and problem-driven. I focus on building a clear understanding of fundamentals before moving to formulas and calculations. In both mathematics and physics, I break complex ideas into simple, logical steps and connect them to intuition, diagrams, and real examples.

I use:

Step-by-step problem solving with clear reasoning.
Visual explanations (graphs, sketches, free-body diagrams).
Guided practice followed by independent problem solving.
Regular checks for understanding, not just correct answers.
Exam-style questions once the concept is solid.

I adapt the pace and explanation style to each student, especially if they struggle with confidence or gaps in basics.

Typical course flow:

A typical lesson follows a structured but flexible flow:
Quick review of previous material and common mistakes.
Introduction of the new topic, starting from core ideas.
Worked examples, explained line by line.
Student practice, with guidance where needed.
Exam or application-style problems.
Short summary and takeaway, including what to revise next.
Before exams, lessons shift toward revision strategy, time management, and identifying high-impact topics.

My special features as a teacher:

I explain why methods work, not just how to apply them.
I am patient and calm, especially with students who feel “bad at math or physics”.
I connect math and physics concepts instead of teaching them in isolation.
I focus strongly on problem-solving thinking, not memorization.
I help students build confidence and independence, not dependency.

Because of my engineering background, I can also relate abstract topics to real-world applications, which helps many students understand faster.

Who the courses are intended for

My courses are suitable for:

Upper secondary / high school students (math & physics).
Diploma and foundation-level students.
First-year university students needing support in math or physics.
Students preparing for exams, retakes, or entrance tests.
Students who want to strengthen fundamentals or improve grades.
