Hi, I'm Ifeoluwa, an English tutor who knows how to mix learning and fun together. With an IELTS score of 7.5 and a cumulative G.P.A of 4.0 as a bachelors degree student of Oulu University of Applied Sciences, I bring analytical thinking and problem-solving skills into my teaching.
I take my role as a tutor seriously, and I am committed to delivering high-quality, structured lessons that produce real results. My teaching is not random or generic, every lesson is planned with clear objectives, tailored to the student’s level, and focused on measurable improvement.
I pay close attention to my students and provide clear feedback on their progress with clear advices on areas to focus on. I also challenge my students to push beyond their limits so they can achieve noticeable progress.
Students who work with me can expect consistency, patience, and a tutor who is genuinely invested in their success. My goal is not just to teach English, but to equip students with the skills and confidence they need to perform well in school, exams, and real-world communication.

My approach as a private tutor is student-centered, practical, and focused on improving confidence and use of English in real-life situations. As a student at Oulu University of Applied Sciences studying Information Technology, I understand the academic challenges students face, and I tailor my lessons to help them succeed both in school and beyond. As a native English speaker with an IELTS score of 7.5, English is the most natural thing to me.
Teaching techniques and methods:
I use a mix of interactive teaching methods, including guided practice, real-life examples, and structured exercises. I focus on the four key areas of English: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. I also incorporate IELTS-style techniques (based on my 7.5 score) to help students improve accuracy, vocabulary, and fluency. Lessons are engaging, with discussions, short tasks, and feedback to ensure steady progress.
Typical course flow:
Each lesson usually starts with a quick review of previous topics, followed by introducing a new concept (such as grammar, essay structure, or speaking practice). We then practice together through exercises, conversations, or writing tasks. I end each session with feedback, corrections, and tips for improvement, along with optional assignments for extra practice.
