I have been teaching English for six years, working with students across different schools and learning environments. #
What kept me in the classroom for that long was simple: watching people go from hesitant and uncertain to confident and fluent is genuinely rewarding work.
I am a native Portuguese speaker who has lived and worked across cultures, and I now live in Finland.
I know what it feels like to navigate a foreign language in a professional and daily context, and that experience shapes the way I teach. I do not just explain English. I help you use it.
My students have come from all walks of life, including professionals, students, retirees, and career changers.
Many of them came to me with a specific goal: a job interview in English, a promotion, a move abroad, or simply the confidence to hold a conversation without freezing up.
That goal-oriented approach is how I work. We do not study
English in the abstract. We study the English you need.

My classes are built around you, not around a textbook. Whether you want to improve your grammar, practice conversation, or learn the specific English vocabulary you need for your career in tech, we work on what actually matters to you.
A typical session starts with a short warm-up conversation to get you speaking from the first minute. From there, we move into the main focus of the lesson, whether that is grammar structure, vocabulary building, or a topic you want to discuss.
I correct mistakes in real time but without interrupting your flow. At the end of each session, I summarize what we covered and give you something concrete to practice before the next class.
After six years teaching students from age 5 to 73, I know that every learner is different. Some people need structure and clear rules. Others learn better through conversation and context. I adapt to your style, not the other way around.
I have a particular focus on IT professionals who want to work internationally. If your goal is to write better emails, perform well in technical interviews, or simply feel confident speaking English in a professional environment, I can help you get there.
No previous level required. Beginners are welcome, and advanced speakers who want to fine-tune their fluency are
equally at home in my classes.
