I am a native English speaker from the south-west of England with a neutral accent, and I was born and raised in the English countryside where I lived for 18 years. I am currently a master’s student at Aalto University and a qualified CELTA-certified English teacher with Cambridge training. I am a very active person and, outside teaching, I enjoy volleyball, jiu-jitsu, 3D printing, reading, and skiing in the winter. I bring a friendly, energetic, and professional approach to my lessons, and I enjoy helping students improve their English with confidence.

My lessons follow CELTA-approved techniques and are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and interests. I use your personal interests to make lessons more engaging, relevant, and motivating. These 1-to-1 lessons are suitable for all levels, provided you are comfortable using only English during class. Once I understand your learning style, I adapt the lesson content and structure to help you make steady progress and grow in confidence.

I can also set homework for students who want extra practice between lessons, and I am happy to help with preparation for certain exams. Lessons can take place online, at your home, or in a public place such as a library, depending on what is easiest for you. I am generally very flexible with scheduling, so lessons can often be arranged early in the morning or later in the evening if that suits you best.
