As an active professional flutist currently Freelancing in Orchestra’s across Finland. I bring real, current performance insight directly into my teaching. I have completed my Masters studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with also a degree in Pedagogy.
Above all, I believe that finding joy in music-making is the foundation of real progress. My greatest strength as a teacher is building that personal connection with each student and creating an environment where playing the flute feels like a natural, exciting, and deeply personal experience.

My lessons are built on two core beliefs: that music should bring joy, and that every student is unique. I take time to truly get to know each student — their personality, their goals, and what makes them light up. From there I build a personalised learning path that flows naturally for them, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method.
Every lesson follows a clear, nurturing structure. We begin with a warm-up focused on sound and body awareness, helping the student arrive fully present and physically ready to play. From there, we move into technical exercises, always chosen with our repertoire in mind so that technique never feels abstract or disconnected from real music-making. Depending on the student's level and needs, we then work through études or shorter technical pieces before diving into our main repertoire. This flow keeps lessons balanced, progressive, and enjoyable.
Who Are the Lessons For?
My lessons are open to absolutely everyone — from complete beginners picking up the flute for the very first time, to intermediate and advanced players, all the way to students preparing for conservatory entrance exams or professional diplomas. I work with children, teenagers, and adults alike. Whether your goal is to play for pure enjoyment or to pursue a career in music, we will find an approach that works for you.
