Flute and Piccolo Teacher / Music Educator

Motivated and responsible flute player and music educator based in Turku. I have a classical music background and experience teaching students of different ages and levels.

I have experience teaching individual flute lessons and working with very young children, teenagers and adults. I work both with complete beginners who have no previous musical education and with students who are preparing for entrance examinations to specialised music schools, colleges and other serious music education programmes.

I adapt lessons to each student’s age, level, interests and goals. In addition to flute playing, I have a strong knowledge of solfège, music theory and ear training, which I can explain clearly and incorporate into lessons according to the student’s needs. This can be especially useful for students preparing for auditions or entrance examinations.

My aim is to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere where students can learn, improve their skills and enjoy playing music.

I am available for lessons at my location in Turku as well as home visits to students, depending on the location.

I also have experience performing in orchestras and different musical ensembles, which has helped me develop strong teamwork, communication and musical collaboration skills.

I am looking for opportunities to work as a flute teacher or music instructor in Turku and the surrounding area.

Victoria is an excellent teacher with a thoughtful approach! She genuinely loves what she does and explains everything perfectly! I studied with her for about a year; I started from scratch, and Victoria helped me a lot—she explained and demonstrated everything and always created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I’m very happy with the results, so I highly recommend her to everyone!
