I am a PhD scientist with a background in biotechnology & biochemistry. I have taught university-level students, supervised research work, and spent years explaining complex biology in simple, clear and engaging ways.
I enjoy helping students see biology as something connected to real life, not just a subject full of difficult words. My teaching style is patient, friendly and structured. I focus on building strong basics, improving confidence, and making each topic easier to understand through examples, drawings and discussion.
I teach in English and work well with international students, English-speaking students in Finland, and anyone who prefers learning biology in English.

I believe biology becomes much easier when it is connected to real life, not just memorised from a textbook. My lessons are friendly, clear and interactive, with simple explanations, examples, drawings, questions and revision support.
A typical lesson starts with understanding where the student is struggling, then breaking the topic into small, logical steps. I use everyday examples, visual explanations and short practice questions to make sure the concept is actually understood.
I teach biology for school students, high school students and university-level beginners who want stronger basics, exam preparation, help with assignments, or simply more confidence in the subject. My goal is to make biology feel less scary, more relatable and genuinely interesting.
Lessons are taught in English. I am based in Finland, but offer online biology lessons for students who are comfortable learning in English worldwide.
