I employ customized learning plans by assessing each student's strengths and weaknesses to create personalized lessons. I use interactive and engaging sessions to blend traditional teaching with real-world applications and technology, which encourages critical thinking through the Socratic method. During most sessions, learning is reinforced with frequent practice problems, quizzes, and challenging homework assignments.
My typical course flow begins with initial assessments and goal setting, followed by structured lessons that review previous material and introduce new concepts. I encourage regular feedback so that needed adjustments are made to ensure continuous progress, apart from periodic review sessions focused on test preparation.
I am patient and adaptable as a way of maintaining open communication with students and parents while providing encouragement and constructive feedback. My courses cater to middle and high school students preparing for exams, and standardized tests (SAT, IGCSE, SSCE, WAEC, etc.) as well as those needing remedial support or enrichment.
My approach aims to help students not only to achieve their academic goals and build a strong foundation in understanding mathematics at this secondary school level but also to develop an appreciation for its beauty and power in ways that equip them with the skills and confidence to excel in their future academic goals at tertiary institutions.
