My name is Santiago! I am 30´ and I was born in Ecuador. I am a chemical engineer currently living in Finland since I completed my master´s studies at LUT University in Global Management of Innovation and Technology . My professional background is linked to a variety of industries; however, I am also experienced in teaching at University level in schools of Science and Engineering.
I am a flexible, versatile, an open-minded teacher who encourages professionalism, continuous learning, and constructive feedback. I am committed to ethical standards, innovation, continuous learning, and adaptation to change.
In my free time I love to practice sports, especially football and hiking and hanging out with family and friends.

My approach as a private tutor is to help students succeed academically and reach their educational and personal goals. My main teaching techniques and methods are:
1. Assess my student's needs and their current level of knowledge.
2. Develop a customized learning plan based my student's needs, objectives, and preferences.
3. Build a positive relationship, creating a comfortable and friendly learning environment
4. Provide clear explanations and instructions in an easy and concise manner.
5. Use varied teaching methods, such as textbooks, worksheets, online tools, and hands-on activities.
Stay Informed and Updated:
6. Keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and educational materials in the subject area of concern.
7. Motivate and Inspire, encouraging my students to stay motivated and passionate about their progress.
My courses are intended mainly in the areas of Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Innovation & Technology for the following academic levels: high-school, university (bachelor´s), and post-graduate (master´s).
