Hello! I am Edycliff, a STEM tutor who specializes in tutoring mathematics, physics, and computer science. I am also Master of Science (M.Sc.) student at LUT university in Finland.
Tutoring students to success is not just a part time hustle; it is a calling to do my own part in making the world a better place. Through Superprof, I am excited to bring an impactful learning experience to students worldwide. For the past 5+ years, I have been helping students conquer STEM subjects. I even served as the head of department at an organization called Model Initiative for Africa (MIA). In that role, I did not just teach, I drew up the entire syllabus, guided other tutors, corrected lesson plans, and made sure that our students were learning the material in depth. My main job was preparing students for super competitive engineering entrance exams, so I know what exactly it takes to ace high-stakes tests.
My goal is to shape the next the next generation of engineers and scientists, while helping students secure A grades and passes in STEM subjects, and this thousand miles journey begins with a single step, which is to book a lesson with me!

I specialize in tutoring students secondary school and high school students requiring help in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and I am also open to helping beginners and undergraduates.
I love sharing my knowledge with aspiring students, especially in STEM fields. My goal is to shape the next generation of engineers and scientists, while helping students easily secure A grades.

My approach to teaching is pretty unique: I don't just throw formulas and theories at you. Instead, I teach my subjects as a story and I make sure you learn in phases. More importantly, I guide you through the journey as your co-learner.
In a typical topic, we start with the fundamental principles and concepts, and slowly building new knowledge using our previous understanding. We start with a mental picture of a problem, apply the governing laws and theories, and proceed logically to a suitable solution and its implications. We also develop the problem solving skills and techniques along the way throughout the lessons.
In a typical high school Physics topic like Gravitation:
- We begin with sharing ideas based on our intuitive understanding of what gravity.
- We then combine these ideas into a formal definition for gravitation.
- We introduce the concepts of fields for a better mental picture of how gravity works.
- We study Newton's law as the basis for a theory of gravitation.
- We review Kepler's laws and their implications as evidence to support Newton's theory of gravitation.
- We introduce the concepts of energy and the law of energy conservation in gravitational fields.
- We apply these concepts of energy conservation to understand and predict the motion of planets, satellites and objects near the earth's surface, including concepts like weightlessness and escape velocity.
Through out the topic, we develop our problem solving skills by answering typical questions.
While tutoring, I love it when my students ask questions, jot down important points, and write down the important equations with a goal to build a full understanding of the processes involved in the problem they are solving.
I have always had a passion for STEM subjects and this goes in line with my academic record for excellence in subjects involving Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Today I am an Engineering student in Finland. Because my daily engineering courses are built entirely on mathematics, physics and computer science, my grasp of these subjects is practical, real-world, and deeply rooted.
