Hi, my name is Linh. I'm an international student in Finland. I love teaching language, especially my mother tongue. I like to help foreigners learn more about the culture, people, and language.
I have 2 years of experience teaching Vietnamese, from a Teaching Assistant for the Literature subject for a Vietnamese high school, a Vietnamese language teacher at a Finnish School, to an online Vietnamese tutor.
My teaching style is to always listen to and understand my students. Once I understand their goals, requirements, and expectations, I adjust the materials to suit them. Based on each student's level and desired outcome, I design a personalized learning plan.

My teaching method involves building a learning path based on the needs, desires, and goals of each student. I adapt my teaching approach to suit each student's individual needs.
The Vietnamese learning path will depend on each student's goals (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, etc.). For example, if you only want to know basic Vietnamese, enough for short conversations while traveling, 1 month is sufficient; if you want to learn more systematically, to read and speak fluently, you will need 3 to 6 months depending on your current level.
Having learned a language from scratch myself, I understand the difficulties and challenges faced by beginners. Therefore, I pay special attention to the requirements and problems that arise during the learning process. Therefore, before each lesson, I will have a thorough discussion with the students to deeply understand their needs and desires. At the end of each lesson, I will dedicate an additional 5-10 minutes outside of class time to chat and ask about their feelings regarding the lesson.
My students are incredibly diverse, ranging from young children aged 5 to middle-aged adults in their 60s, with varying levels of language proficiency. Each person has their own goals, but the common goal is to improve their language skills. My courses are not age-limited; as long as you have a desire to learn Vietnamese, I am willing to teach you. I focus on teaching beginners (A0) or those with some prior knowledge of the language (A1), supporting them to reach a level where they can communicate fluently with native speakers (B2).
