As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, focusing on understanding each student's unique learning style and adapting my teaching methods to cater to their needs.
I also utilize 18 hours of video content that serves as one important source of information. Through which the student can access the information freely and on their own pace. Next to having the ability to have direct discussions.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Introduction:
- Quick overview of what will be covered.
- Address any questions or concerns the student might have from the previous material.
- Give them homework such as specific materials I will provide on the cross section of Jungian psychology and Mythology.
Main Instruction:
- Introduce the main topic for the day.
- Utilize the 18 hours of video content as a supplementary learning tool, encouraging the student to watch relevant segments.
Q&A Session:
- Open the floor for questions and encourage the student to share their thoughts or seek clarification on any challenging aspects.
- Address common misconceptions and provide additional explanations if necessary.
Application of Knowledge:
- They have to look at specific myths or stories of their choice and apply the knowledge they learned. Handing in a word or open office file, which will be reviewed and discussed the next lesson.
