My Teaching Approach and Methods
As a private tutor, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and structured learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and grow academically. I specialize in teaching primary and secondary school students, adapting my lessons to suit different learning styles, abilities, and academic goals.
Teaching Techniques and Methods:
I use a student-centered approach that combines clear explanations, interactive discussions, practical exercises, and real-life examples to make learning easy and enjoyable. I focus on building strong foundational skills while also encouraging critical thinking and independent learning. I regularly use practice questions, visual aids, and step-by-step problem solving to help students understand concepts deeply rather than just memorizing.
Typical Course Flow:
Each lesson begins with a short review of previous material to reinforce understanding. I then introduce new topics in a simple and structured way, followed by guided practice and interactive activities. Towards the end of the session, students complete independent exercises to build confidence, and we finish with feedback, discussion, and clear goals for the next lesson.
