I am Arif Eren YILDIRIM. I am an MSc. in Architecture candidate at Aalto University in Finland. I am currently 25 years old, and from Turkey. The Turkish language is not only my mother language; but further, it is a passion that I have. Furthermore, the level of education as well as the experience that I have within both Turkish culture and language brings myself forward as a professional for the teaching of Turkish language as well as culture.

First of all, it is good to underline that this course is available to every level of beforehand information that the students have concerning the Turkish language and culture. That means even if the students do not have information about both at all, the learning will happen efficiently through a series of teaching techniques and methods. These techniques and methods will develop the Turkish language skills of students as well as the skill of usage of these language skills in the context of Turkish culture. The typical course flow is composed of private lectures as well as fun, small homeworks to reinforce the learning. The frequency of sessions is determined by students.
As a teacher, in addition to the formal qualifications that I have (high level of education, Turkish as the mother language, 24 years of life experience in Turkey, good communication skills, etc.), I am enthusiastic, and passionate about what I teach. Thus, I guarantee that the sessions will happen extremely fun and productive. Furthermore, I believe that for productive learning, it is highly important for students to feel comfortable, and confident. To do this, a friendly, and positive approach of the teacher is key. So, as the teacher, I would state that I have entirely that type of personality. Although it is better to have the teaching sessions in-person, online live sessions are further available. It is entirely up to student's preference.
This course is intended for people from every age (from children to elderly people) who are interested in Turkish language and culture. Furthermore, it is able become extremely useful for people who are going to visit Turkey for private, or professional reasons such as jobs, or education. It is certainly going to help these kinds of people to have better communication with local people, socialize, or study or work efficiently.
