Hi, I’m Samiur Rahman, and if video editing feels scary or complicated to you, don’t worry — I’ve been there too. The truth is, editing doesn’t have to be tedious or overwhelming. With me, it’s going to feel fun, creative, and even a little addictive once you get the hang of it.
I’ve spent years making all kinds of videos — short reels, TikToks, music clips, and professional corporate content — and I know exactly how to take that messy footage on your phone or camera and turn it into something people actually want to watch. I work with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects every day, but I promise to teach you in plain language, without any of that confusing “tech guru” talk.
In my classes, we laugh, we experiment, and we learn by actually making things instead of just staring at menus and buttons. You’ll cut, trim, add music, throw in some cool effects, and before you know it, you’ll be exporting your own videos that look way more professional than you ever thought possible.

Course Description
This course is for beginners who want to learn video editing from the ground up and gain the skills to create polished content for social media, business, or personal projects. Using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, you will learn how to edit, enhance, and produce videos that capture attention and tell stories effectively.
The teaching approach is hands-on and practical. Each lesson introduces a new concept, followed by exercises where you apply what you’ve learned. By the end of the course, you will be able to edit confidently, add effects, and export professional-quality videos ready to share.
Course Structure
Lesson 1: Getting Started
Introduction to video formats, timelines, and editing basics.
Practice: Cut and trim a short video sequence.
Lesson 2: Premiere Pro Fundamentals
Navigating the interface, using tracks, and organising footage.
Practice: Edit a short clip with multiple scenes.
Lesson 3: Adding Text, Sound, and Music
Titles, captions, and soon editing basics.
Practice: Create a video with background music and subtitles.
Lesson 4: Colour and Visual Style
Colour correction, grading, and filters.
Practice: Edit a video with a consistent colour theme.
Lesson 5: Introduction to After Effects
Basics of motion graphics and animation.
Practice: Animate a logo or text intro.
Lesson 6: Transitions and Effects
Applying smooth cuts, dynamic transitions, and visual effects.
Practice: Create a short video using trending transitions
Lesson 7: Editing for Engagement
Storytelling through cuts, pacing, and rhythm.
Practice: Edit a 30-second clip for maximum impact.
Lesson 8: Exporting and Publishing
Export settings for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and presentations.
Practice: Export a final project and optimise it for different platforms
