My teaching techniques incorporate a blend of traditional and modern methods. I emphasize active learning, where students engage in problem-solving, discussions, and hands-on activities to apply the concepts they learn.
The typical course flow begins with an initial assessment to gauge the student’s current knowledge, strengths, and areas for improvement. Together with the student, and parents if applicable, we set clear, achievable learning objectives. Lessons are then planned to meet these goals, incorporating a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent work.
As a teacher, I pride myself on being patient and adaptable, understanding that each student learns at their own pace. My strong communication skills help maintain clear and open dialogue with both students and parents, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with the learning process. I also encourage critical thinking by prompting students to ask questions and explore ideas more deeply. Additionally, I incorporate technology into my teaching, using educational apps and online resources to make lessons more engaging and effective.
