わたしのなまえはマリコです。（My name is Mariko.）
In Japan, I worked in a department store, focusing on “Omotenashi” (hospitality) to make customers happy.
I then moved to the UK and now live in France.
I am currently learning French from scratch, and while I struggle with the frustration of not being able to communicate in French, I feel the joy every day when my French is understood.
That is why, more than anyone else, I am able to attend to your feelings like ‘I don't understand’ and ‘it's too difficult’ when you are learning Japanese.
And I want to be there for you and rejoice with you when you think "I can speak Japanese!"️️
